our PROCEss

Each one of our offerings has very clear, very detailed frameworks to get the results you need. But every effort is defined by these key tenets.

1) Honesty first, always.

We may use the “f” word. You’re an adult. We may tell you you’ve been lied to. We may tell you you’re lying to yourself. We may tell you that you’re doing everything right. We may tell you you’re doing everything wrong. Regardless, we’re going to tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly, and most importantly – the best way to make it better.

2) You fired us the minute you hired us.

We will work with your team to find out what’s wrong, why it’s wrong, and what can make it better. But we’re not going to do it for you because we think you can probably do it yourself. If you can’t, we’ll help you find someone or do it ourselves if we’re good at it. It’s how we keep ourselves honest and our integrity intact. We’re simply not chasing the next project.

3) Get to simple.

Marketing, in whole, is not complicated. Neither is nuclear fusion. But unlike nuclear fusion, everyone thinks that marketing is easy. But it’s complex, inter-related, and relies on data, good judgment, and experience, made up of hundreds of little decisions that lead to a big outcome. We think helping business teams get to a common, simple language to understand those outcomes is important.

4) Simple is hard.

Boiling down quantitative data and qualitative reviews to get to a “simple” insight is really, really hard. Recognition that the “simple” result has been generated by a lot of work is a necessity for everyone in the organization. Respect the process, both internal and external.
